Hi Frank! I'm sure this is a common question, so I hope you'll have a good answer for me! I have MMP and ARP and want to have someone sign up in ARP, get the five (approximately) emails I have preset, then be on a MMP list to receive additional emails as I see fit. Should I create a list for MMP with the same list name as in ARP? Aslo, how do I avoid response emails being sent out by both ARP and MMP? Is there a way to automate this, so I don't have to add subscribers manually? Thanks Frank! -Mike.} |

Hi Mike, The MMP list filename can be the same like the ARP autoresponder filename, but it doen't have to be. To do what you want, simply setup your autoresponder follow-up sequence in ARP using the "Message Manager". Then simply chose your MMP list for the very first message that goes out (Add also to Add2it Mailman Pro list). To prevent that the subscriber gets more than one message on the first day, you can: 1. Use the MMP "List Settings" feature and make sure the "Subscribe Autoresponse:" box is blank or 2. Choose --> Don't send a message <-- for the very first message of your ARP autoresponder follow-up sequence. Frank- I'm not really clear about your instructions when you say, "Then simply chose your MMP list for the very first message that goes out (Add also to Add2it Mailman Pro list)." If I have 5 messages that are going out day 1,2,3,4,5 then I will add more as specials arrive, do I send the first 5 with arp or mmp? Or do you mean #1 goes out from mmp and 2-5 with arp, then the rest with mmp? Thanks Frank! MC. |

Hi Mike, All messages that you want to send to new subscribers in a sequence, you will add to ARP. When the first ARP message message gets send out, you let ARP add the subscriber automatically to your MMP list. After the last on the ARP messages is scheduled for a subscriber, the subscriber will be automatically dropped from the ARP autoresponder. If you now have a new (sixth) message that you want to send to all subscribers, you send it first out with MMP (so it goes to all subscribers). Then you add that 6th message to your ARP follow-up sequence, so future subscribers will get it automatically. Hi Frank, I was testing my arp. and it sends out the first message twice. In arp I have a message in the section for automatically sending a message, but in mmp I have nothing for the automatically sent section... Do you know why arp is sending it twice? Thanks Frank. Mike. |

Hi Mike, The only possibility for ARP sending out the first message twice is that person gets added twice. What versions of Add2it Mailman Pro and Add2it AutoRespond Pro are you using? And where can I test it and add myself? Sincerely, Frank Bauer ============================================================ Would you like more... ? Hi Frank, If you go to www.massivemarketing.net there is a pop up when you leave with a instant opt-in or on www.yeswebdesign.com there is a form on the left side of the screen. Thanks. P.S. I checked them 3 times with only signing up once each. |

Hi Mike, I now tried it and also got the message twice. I noticed the message was cut of in the middle... looks like something in the message itself causes it. It stops at: ... on the first tier and $15 on the second... sometimes more! =) You c What comes right after "You c" in the source code of the HTML email message? Frank, Here is the html that follows... your commission would be a minimum of $30 <br>on the first tier and $15 on the second... sometimes more! =) </i><br><br>You can go online and find hundreds of affiliate programs to promote. I <br>recommend promoting between 3 and 5 at first to stay organized. Does this help? -Mike. P.S. I changed the password temporarily to 'password' if you'd like to take a look. |

Hi Mike, Hmmm... the code you mentioned starts with "your commission"... but the message ended on "You c". Looks like that are not the same positions in the message. Frank, That is the same section of the html. If you look again, you'll see that I just included a little bit before the "on the first tier and $15 on the second... sometimes more! =) </i><br><br>You can go online and find hundreds of affiliate programs to promote. I <br>recommend promoting between 3 and 5 at first to stay organized." How would this affect the arp sending the same message twice? -Mike. |

Frank, By the way, you mentioned earlier that the message cuts off... when I sign up, it sends it twice, but it is complete (in the html and the text only.) -Mike.

Hi Mike, Yes, you are right. I missed that before. I now tried again to subscribe to your newsletter and also to unsubscribe. This time I didn't get any confirmation messages. Can you please email me your admin area access password so I can check inside? Please don't post it, but email it to me. Hi Mike, I just wanted to add that the subscribe confirmation email now arrived delayed. Again twice and again cut off at the same point. Hopefully a look inside your admin area will help me to find out what is going on. Sincerely, Frank Bauer ============================================================ Would you like more... ?
