Hello Michel, I have answered all your emails, but as it looks like, your web host or ISP filters all emails out that come from add2it.com. I would recommend to complain to them in this regard. I also read your comments in your new order and will take care of what you asked for in there. Finally, I will send you the script you ordered via attachment to the email address you provided here. Please let me know once you receive it.

I received everything i requested and Thank you I set the responder up on my host site and it went easy and smooth and I will be moving it to my dedicated server. One question, I noticed on your hosted responder and on the one I purchased that any time I change the text in the opt-in message that you created it will not send the opt-in link. why is that? I am not getting the little arrows or icons either but i do get the object error message, figure that may work on the dedicated server though Thanks, Mike S |

what do yo mean by this? 9.3 The subscriber needs the confirm.pl script to: the manual is pretty good but you may need to break it down more we Americans love those "For Dummies" books try to write the manual from my view not yours All I should have to do is create some e-mail accounts, set crons, load the files to one folder I created and run install&setup, then fill in settings When you get into the subscriber-server-administrator needs the... It can get confusing

Hello Mike, Let me try to answer your questions one by one... > any time I change the text in the opt-in message that you > created it will not send the opt-in link. why is that? Did you keep the ^confirmurl^ code in the email text of the "Double Opt-in Autoresponse Email:" message? > I am not getting the little arrows or icons either but i do get > the object error message, figure that may work on the dedicated > server though That sounds like you installed the script inside the cgi-bin and the path to the location of your web pages in the "Script Settings" section is not correct. > what does this mean i placed a url in here and nothing > (If the code starts with "http", the subscriber will be > redirected to the specified URL instead.) If you enter a URL (http://www.yourdomain.com/thank-you.htm) in that field instead of the complete HTML code, the subscriber will be forwarded to that URL instead of seeing a page created using that HTML code. > what do yo mean by this? > 9.3 The subscriber needs the confirm.pl script to: That means that the confirm.pl script will be used for the double opt-in / opt-out process of the subscriber. If you have any particular feedback on how to write certain parts of the manual in a better understandable fassion, I would be happy to use your improved texts. > how long will it take you to get around to installing this > and can you do it now with your moving? I could install the script on your server within 24 hours after your installation service order. So far i got it to work had to look in the html code of the messages to see a error, it did not want to include the last^ but fixed that I upload a group batch of 50,000 leads and it takes about a minute for them to load them the window opens showing stats on message delivery for the 50,000 1. Is there any way to speed up that delivery rate? ( I am on my own server using cpanel) 2. with this window open messages are going out what happen if it is closed before delivery is finished? 3. guess i am asking what the series of process are here? |

Hello Mike, In general... the faster your web server is, the faster messages can be send out. Many vendors of bulk email and group management tools seem to be making claims of various throughput rates, and people ask us all the time exactly how fast our products are, or how many recipients can be send to in an hour etc. If only it were that simple ...... Variables Affecting Message Sending Speed: - The actual message being sent (size, encoding, attachments, etc...) - The number of personalization tags used - The speed of the server creating the message and the mail server sending it (CPU, HD subsystem, memory, processing software) - The speed of the connection between the computer sending the message and the sender's mail server - The speed and responsiveness of the sender's mail server - The speed of the Internet connection between you, your ISPs/Local Mail Server if you are using it and the recipient's mail server - The speed and responsiveness of the recipient's mail server Please take a look at the 'Script Settings' in your Admin Control Center. You will find the 'Maximum time for each manual subscription, unsubscriptions or messages send process at each run'. The value can be between 1 and 30. If the value is rather low, try increasing it in steps of one. The next time you send a message to your list watch the time it needs. If the process finishes without problems, increase it again. If you the sending process interrupts at some time, decrease the value again by one and continue the send message process at the point it stopped. The higher the value the faster the whole process will be. Sincerely, Frank Bauer ============================================================ Would you like more... ? Hello Mike, At the point it asks you if you want to resume, if you choose yes, the system will automatically continue at exactly the point it got interrupted before. If you choose no, you will be able to start newly. Did this answer your question? Sincerely, Frank Bauer ============================================================ Would you like more... ? But the only way to get to that is to upload another group of leads shouldn't there be an option to start and stop send at will |

Hello Mike, You can stop any time by closing your browser window. You don't need to finish the sending process. Hello Mike, That's the total time (in seconds) it took to send the messages out.
