Hello Catherine,

With Add2it Mailman Pro 2.64 and Add2it AutoRespond Pro 1.11 setting up the subscribe / unsubscribe by email feature is very easy:

1. You add a new list / autoresponder in the admin area.

2. You enter the control panel of your web site and add two new email forwarders:

a) subscribe-listfilename@yourdomain.com
b) unsubscribe-listfilename@yourdomain.com

Of corse you use your own domain name instead of yourdomain.com and instead of listfilename you use the acutal filename of the list / autoresponder from step 1.

Then as the destination email address, use:

mmp@yourdomain.com (Add2it Mailman Pro)
or
arp@yourdomain.com (Add2it AutoRespond Pro)

That's all.

Since you ordered the installation service, I can do that for you. Just let me know the list / autoresponder filenames for which you like to use the subscribe / unsubscribe by email feature.

Regarding your second question:

All subscribe / unsubscribe confirmation pages can be 100% edited in the "Autoresponder Settings" menu of the script admin area.

For all other pages, the header and footer area can be edited in the "Script Settings" menu of the script admin area.

In all follow up messages you can use this tags:

^fname^ for the first name
^lname^ for the last name
^email^ for the email address
^misc1^ for the 4th field
^list^ for the filename of the autoresponder
^listtitle^ for the title of the autoresponder
^number^ for the number of subscribers of the autoresponder
^date+x^ for the date in x days (x can be any number, e.g. 0=today, 1=tomorrow, -1=yesterday)
^SSI:URL or path to file^ - Will be replaced with the content of that file (which may contain other tags), e.g. ^SSI:http://www.yourdomain.com/file.htm^ or ^SSI:/home/username/username-www/file.htm^

The IP address and date can be checked by the admin in the script admin area (Autoresponder Logs and Subscriber Editor), but can not be automatically inserted into the messages.

Would that be a feature of interest?

Regarding your last question:

Yes, it does support one click removal. Simply add something like this into your messages:

----------------------------------------------------------------
You are subscribed to this autoresponder with ^email^.
If you would like to be removed, click here...
http://www.yourdomain.com/arp/unsub.pl?^list^=^email^
----------------------------------------------------------------
Sincerely,

Frank Bauer
