Hi Frank, The script doesn't seem to be processing ^ssi:..^ calls in the default header. Any way I can make it do so? Thanks, Bob |

Hi Frank, On further testing it seems that the SSI calls are not working in ed.pl either. When called from a link in an email the SSI content is not included in the page. Bob |

Hi Bob, Did you try to use the ^ssi:...^ tag in the header and footer field of the "Script Settings" section? That tag is only for the text areas of the "List Settings" section. Hi Frank, I need to SSI includes in the header section of the script settings, for a menu so that when clients go to edit their details they can navigate within the site. It works fine everywhere else but when they go to edit their details none of the includes appear. I can live without it in the actual Admin of MMP but I really do need it on any pages reachable by the clients. Bob |

Hi Bob, Have you tried using the regular HTML code to add SSI? <!--#include file="http://www.yourdomain/file.html" --> Sincerely, Frank Bauer ============================================================ Would you like more... ? Hi Frank, Yes, I have tried using a regular call but as the page is not .shtml the server ignores it. I have also tried using a .htaccess file to force the server to parse it and so display the include but as yet have had no luck. Bob |

Hi Frank, I had a look at the autoresponder script as well and it has the same problem. Baswically what I need is: 1. To have the overall template be able to handle ^SSI^ calls or 2. To have the template for the edit page (MMP) or the form error page (Auto-Resp) handled the same way as the templates for the list or auto-responder. Unfortunately I need either of these changes "yesterday"! My only other option is to move both scripts out of the cgi-bin and I may then possibly be able to use .htaccess files to parse normal includes, it's not guaranteed to work though as a lot depends on how your script actually prints out the resultant pages. Hi Bob, I could add function 1. to the script for you. I would take me about 45 to 60 minutes to both scripts. If you like to hire me to do that, please visit: http://www.add2it.com/services/support.shtml

Hi Frank, Quote: CHANGE look and feel to match existing websites. As the page/s that I need to match to my existing site are produced by the script in response to vistior input I would have thought that they would be included in those that could be changed. They are not Admin pages which are not visible to viewers but pages that one would expect a viewer to se at some point.I don't quite understand why they run off the Admin template/s in the first place, so to my mind what I am asking for is not an addition to or extension of any of the scripts capabilities, but merely a correction of a minor flaw. This being the case I'm not too sure that I can justify paying to have it done. Bob |

Hi Bob, Yes, you can do that already now by modifying the header and footer fields in the "Script Settings" section. This is not only for admin pages, but for all script generated pages. Simply don't use SSI and paste the proper HTML code there instead. This way you can make this pages look any way you like. I only ask to be paid if you like me to add additional functions. Hi Frank, The include I want is the site menu which is included on every other page in the site via PHP and on the "correct" response pages produced by your script using your ^SSI^ calls, to hard code it into just the admin template would mean every time a change is made I would have to edit it separately. Hi Frank, I am also having a bit of trouble with ARP not seeing the lists of MMP. The path in ARP to MMP is correct (at least it doesn't complain unless I change it) but in the Message Manager I can't add to any of my defined MMP lists as they are not available. I am also having problems adding subscribers to one list, if I manually add one it tells me that the subscription has been successful but the subscriber is not actually added, this also happens when subbing via a form (no double opt-in for either method). Also when I manually add a subscriber and send them the message for the double-opt in it is not including the ^confirmurl^, the tag is in the message. Should I try deleting it and re-installing it? Hi Bob, Regarding adding the ^SSI^ tag function to the "Script Settings" header and footer field, I placed that function now on the wish list for a future release of the software. Regarding you other problems, may I ask what versions of Add2it Mailman Pro and Add2it AutoRespond Pro you are currently using?
