Hello friends, I worked at the HRC from 1987 to 1993. I was a huge fan and collector of the various pins. I have a very nice collection (with some doubles)of older, discontinued, and very rare pins. Unfortunately my pins are in a box in the garage and have not seen the light of day in quite a few years. I was wondering if anyone out in cyber space would be interested in buying my collection. Only serious buyers need respond since I have a sentimental attachment to the pins and will only sell if the price is right. SERIOUS COLLECTORS WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY FIND IN MY COLLECTION!!!!!! Please respond to erit@aqwise.com. All is one! Erit |

Why is your name so familiar Frank? maybe I waited on you once or twice in Chicago???? Or maybe in Newport beach? I used to wear about 20 pins at a time on my uniform and when a trader came in I would start drooling....... I have about 300 pins I think, been a while since I saw them LOL. Some highlights: les paul no names - gold, green, blue, black, white, red- really old logo without location - just round all color rock stars 1993 innauguration pin Wash DC US specialty city pins with NO NAME on the neck of guitar (also sydney - all of what was once peter mortons side of the HR)and the same guitars with name of city. hololulu 1990 blue surf pin (I mention this because I saw it for sale on the net for $325!!!! WOW) xmas pins, haloween pins, mardi gras pins, I have one really old London record pin that I remember took me forever to find when I was trading. I haven't even seen it on anyone's list. Its probably worth a lot, I'll scan it. other pins from ALL OVER!! I used to wait on Judson a lot and he would give me pins as tips. so he filled out my collection quite a bit back when I was in Chicago. I really have to get out that box and go through the pins, count them, see what other very rare ones I have. Problem is I have two babies (26 months and 11 months) who have to grab everything they see and so I don't even want them to see the pins!!! Is that enough info for the time being? BTW, I was opening manager at Tel-Aviv HRC. Sad story when it closed...... Best regards, Erit |

Hello Erit, Yes, it's my site, but who knows... I have been in HRC Chicago a couple of yours ago... Your collection sounds great! But I guess way past my financial possibility right now... ... but I wish you all the best selling it right here. Do you REALLY want to sell it? Sincerely, Frank Bauer |

You know Frank, I pulled out my pins yesterday and looked at them. really a great collection, but what can I do with it? It seems a shame to leave it in a box in the garage doesn't it? I'll save some of the less expensive pins for a souvineer for my girls but the really rare ones should go to someone who really needs them. I'll need some luck selling those expensive ones. We really need the money right now so I hope I can do it. thanks. I will post a list here soon. In addition I want to send you by e-mail a scan of a really rare pin I have! Bye 4 now! E |

Hi Frank, I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me as there are a few things I don't understand. 1. What is 3LC and 2LT etc.? 2. I understand "grid back"....but what the heck is "eyeball back" and "mesh back"? I have scanned a pic for you which includes the back of a NY logo that is NOT grid. I have no idea if it is eyeball or mesh. If you know, could you tell me? 3. what is "cloisonne"? 4. In the pic I have attached, there is a Tokyo pin which I couldn't identify on Ron Buoels list, could you give me a clue? 5. Also in the pic is a button: John Lennon drawing, "give peach a chance". Do you have any idea if this is a rare pin and what is its worth? 6. how do I post this scan? I'll send it to you by e-mail. I would really really appreciate your help here. I thank you for your kind response. |
