The other day I was asked a very general, but super important question: What is the single most important advice I can give somebody just starting out to build his online business?
Here is my reply to that question and I hope you will also benefit it… 
The most important advice (which is also the hardest to follow) that I can give would be… Try to stay focused as much as possible!
There is an endless amount of options to build your online business and of course everybody that is selling how to information will tell you that theirs is the best. 
Be very picky when you pick a method that suits you personally and that you believe you will stick with… than don’t try anything else until you gave that method at the very least 2-3 month of time to really do what you learn.
The worst you can do is to start a lot of things and not finish a single one of them.
Getting started as an affiliate is of course the easiest way, but be aware that one the long run you will want to be in the position where you offer your own products and services.
The #1 activity to focus on… even if you are “just” an affiliate will be to build your personal mailing list.
